The Canterbury Lions have been active since 1972, raising funds that can be used to help address critical needs of our community and residents. As part of Lions International, Lions have a particular focus on helping the sight and hearing impaired. They collect eyeglasses and hearing aids year round, and support organizations such as the Low Vision Center, CRIS Radio, and the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Club participation also leads to new friendships, camaraderie, and leadership skills.
The Canterbury Lions Club sponsors a college scholarship every year for the Canterbury students.
The Lions Club is also interested in collaborating with other local organizations on events.

Meetings
Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Riverview Pizza Restaurant (Rte 14, Moosup). There will be no July and August meetings.
