There will be a public hearing on Thursday, October 9th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for a text amendment to the Zoning Regulations, Section 14.7 Illumination of Signs. The proposed amendment can be found below and is also available at the Canterbury Town Clerk and Land Use Offices.
The Planning and Zoning Commission rules on all applications for new construction, reconstruction, alteration, change of use, change of location, or subdivision within the town of Canterbury. The Commission is responsible to promote the orderly and coordinated development of the Town and the general welfare and prosperity of its residents.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the Municipal Building.
