The ZBA hears and makes decisions on applications requesting variances to our zoning regulations. Variances may be allowed based on a hardship created by a set regulation. Hardships must be caused by the lay of the land, and cannot be financial or personal.
A property owner who has received a Cease and Desist order from the zoning office may appeal that decision to the ZBA.
There are currently vacancies for seats on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Meetings are held on the final Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Municipal Building.
